The little men.

The silly goose...I mean starlet.

The three munchkins.

I hope to travel with Brian & Brooke over to the Philippines in September to lend a hand with our precious grandkids on the LONG trip over and to help in the first few weeks of adjusting and settling into life in Manila. Travelling with their most precious "cargo" (the princess-2yrs. & the twins-10 months), juggling kids & their bags through numerous airports then customs, and with potential fellow passengers who don't think travelling near a family with three little ones is something they paid for, they could use my help, don't you think? My co-workers here will cover my responsibilities (we do that for each other). Holly will take care of feeding Arlan when he tires of PB & J sandwiches and popcorn! It has been a desire of mine (twelve years+) to return to Mindanano to see our dear Filipino friends and the missionary community we served with and love so much. Seeing some of our former students who now minster there is on the "to do" list too. So, accompanying the "kids" will be an answer to a long-standing prayer of mine as well as being a blessing to them as they travel & get settled. I look forward to seeing how God will work in the coming weeks and months. Come along and enjoy the ride with me.

Christmas was lively and a LOT more fun with a toddler in the mix. The little princess had a blast and the twins mostly slept through all the festivities.

Here are a few cards that I've made in the past months. I'm working with VERY limited tools, so I'm trying to be creative with what I have...which are some stamps, paper, a few fancy scissors, a couple of punches, ink pads, and glue! I still dream of learning to make beautiful watercolor cards like Dina...my hero....or some cards like SadieB's creations! My one MUST in making cards is that each card is a new creation...no mass producing from this old gal. Not REAL practical but it lets my creativity get a work out and is satisfying after a card is finished. Now if I could just learn to be less perfectionistic!

Okay, I know I'm using a Christmas picture for Valentine's Day, but I am known to be random!
